A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and former governorship aspirant in Kogi State, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Idris has expressed worry over increasing cases of insecurity in the State.

Idris condemned the recent attack on Okehi Area Command of the Nigeria Police at Eika-Ohizenyi in the Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State by gunmen who killed a police inspector on duty.

He also sympathised with victims of the tanker explosion in the Felele area of Lokoja, the state capital.

The PDP leader in a statement through his media team noted that the latest attack was the second in less than a month after the Adavi Police Station came under attack in early June in which three police officers were also killed.

Idris sympathised with the affected communities and reiterated his call on the government to ensure the security of lives and property in the state.

“It is with a heavy heart that I want to use this medium to appeal to the State government and security agents to always be proactive to respond quickly to this type of incident to save lives and property,” his statement read.

“However, I wish to condole with the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in these incidents and similar incidents in other parts of the State in recent times.

“It is devastating to always hear that in most of these incidents, attackers often operated for hours without any interference from security agents.

“Nevertheless, I wish to strongly advise that nobody should take the law into his or her hand as it is our hope and belief that government will protect the citizens as required by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Government and security agents should, however, try as much as possible to bring the perpetrators of these heinous crimes to book in order to rekindle the hope of the people.

“I also appeal to the Government to beam its searchlight in those areas under attack to fish out the attackers who may be lurking around.

“And looking at the fire incident a few days ago, it appears that tanker explosions are becoming a continuous happenstance in Felele area of Lokoja which often led to the burning of innocent people beyond recognition.

“I want to appeal to the government to look into the state of the road and do the needful and also advise Drivers who convey fully loaded Tankers with petrol through the State capital to always take precaution and put the heavy-duty vehicles in good condition to avoid future occurrence,”Idris said

Primate Ayodele’s Prophecy Fulfilled As Godswill Akpabio Faces Impeachment Threat (VIDEO)

The emergence of Godswill Akpabio as the senate president of Nigeria may have been approved physically but spiritually, there were pockets of resistance for his leadership. This claim has now been authenticated following the impeachment threats currently facing the politician.

Long before the senate presidency election, the electorates were warned by Primate Ayodele about the choice of their candidate. The global prophet went as far as mentioning names of candidates that have the approval of God but in the usual character of Nigerian politicians, they ignored.

Primate Ayodele repeatedly said that an Igbo person is the right candidate to become the next senate president but the most prominent person in that category wasn’t allowed to get the seat, the electorates threw their weight behind Godswill Akpabio.

It would also be recalled that immediately Akpabio won, Primate Ayodele stated that there would be problems in the house. Some supporters of the politician thought Primate Ayodele had a personal issue with their principal and went on to verbally attack the prophet. Little did they know that it won’t even take long before things unfold.

In a video shared on Primate Ayodele’s tiktok account in August, the prophet clearly revealed that some people will launch an attack of impeachment on Godswill Akpabio. Every normal person would have thought this will not come to pass anytime soon because the government is still new and there were no issues at the time Primate Ayodele released that prophecy but prophets don’t operate on the normal realm, they have the ability to see stillness in the midst of a raging storm and a raging storm in the midst of stillness.

These were the words of Primate Ayodele:

‘’I see that some people will launch attack of impeachment on Akpabio, they will condemn him and will begin to have problems.’’

As the prophet revealed, reports making rounds have it that the Senate President is going through an impeachment attack which was launched by two senators from the north. According to the reports, former governors who are also in the senate have joined the league of senators seeking for the impeachment of Godswill Akpabio.
