Popular Kogi Politician and 2019 Governorship aspirant, Abubakar Ibrahim Idris has urged Christians faithfuls in Kogi State and across Nigeria to eschew violence and embrace peace during the Easter celebration.
Idris, in his message, enjoined Christians to use this period marking the end of the Lenten season to pray for the country especially as it tackles various security challenges “‘at this point in time, we all need to be our brother’s keeper, eschew violence and work together to make the country safe for everyone, we just don’t have any option to peace””,Idris said.
Dr Abubakar admonished Faithful to embrace and imbibe the profound doctrine and attributes of JESUS CHRIST as enshrined in the Holy Bible.
He prayed for peace,love, understanding, and forgiveness that Christ professed on the cross, while wishing Faithfuls a happy Easter celebration.
