ATEN Honour Kogi Politician, Abubakar Ibrahim 

It seems the era of awards for top Kogi politician, Abubakar Ibrahim is here. This is because few weeks after he was honoured by the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities (SSANU) in Kogi state, he was also recognized recently by The Africa Theological Education Network (ATEN).

Ibrahim was conferred with the Doctor of International Affairs (DIA).

The ceremony which took place at the Federal University, Lokoja on Saturday, 26th, February, 2022 had dignitaries across the Academia, Business and Politics in attendance. It was a very big ceremony.

Speaking at the event,Ibrahim says the award means a lot to him in the sense that it is very noteworthy to be recognized by the famed Christian Institution.

Ibrahim also talked on the electoral bill which had generated a lot of furore in the Country’s political space for sometime now “it’s better than what we had in 1999. Now, Nigerians can have electronic transfer of results which will mitigate against ballot box snatching which characterized our past elections..Another thing I like about the new electoral law is that anywhere there is violence,the election there is cancelled” he said.
